PROJEKTO APŽVALGA

Vilos architektūra įkvėpta horizontalios kraštovaizdžio struktūros – upės ir abipus jos esančių miškų, kurie formuoja natūralų fono horizontą. The villa is therefore designed in three long white horizontal planes that almost seem to be floating due to the neutral black wall tiles that blend to the dark woods behind the house. The South facade is designed with vertical timber slates in betwee black wall tiles that blend to the dark woods behind the house. The South facade is designed with vertical timber slates in between the glazing that he South facade

Minimalist modern villa entrance in Austria with monolithic facade, driveway, and panoramic Alpine lake view
The arrival is defined by a calm, monolithic volume positioned carefully within the landscape. From the access level, the villa appears closed and protective, with minimal openings and precise geometry. This restrained expression contrasts with the expansive views beyond, where the architecture gradually opens toward the Alpine lake and surrounding terrain, revealing its layered spatial organisation.
Modern villa in Austria at night with illuminated pool, layered architecture, and forest surroundings
At night, the villa presents a composed and restrained presence within the landscape. The upper volume remains calm and monolithic, while carefully placed lighting reveals the entrance sequence and defines the building’s horizontal layers.
The illuminated driveway guides the approach, creating a clear spatial transition from arrival to the interior. Beyond, the expansive lake and valley remain visible, reinforcing the dialogue between architecture and its wider Alpine context.
The villa presents a quiet, protective expression toward the approach, defined by a monolithic upper volume and controlled openings. At night, subtle lighting traces the entrance sequence, guiding movement while preserving the building’s calm and composed character.
The surrounding landscape remains present yet secondary, allowing the architecture to stand as a clear, minimal gesture within the Alpine setting.

Minimalist villa interior with full-height black wardrobe wall and clean architectural lines
A continuous wall of integrated storage defines the space with precision and restraint. The dark, full-height panels create a calm visual backdrop, allowing proportion, rhythm, and subtle detailing to take precedence.
Handles are minimized, surfaces remain uninterrupted, and the architecture reads as a single, composed plane. Movement is softened and quiet, reinforcing the sense of order and balance within the interior.

The architecture of the villa takes its clues from the horizontal lines of the landscape: the river with the woods in the background on its both sides.
